lyrics
of all the times i cried for you
i never thought this would be the last
stay outta the bus lane
you’re not there
to this place i love, i’ll never return
hand in hand, you and i got what we deserved
an orange from the valley, nine tears for every word
the water’s still sinking but don’t forget the people we were
when you cross my mind
i feel alright
you’re out there somewhere
and i guess that’s all i need to be okay
i’m not alright but i still pretend to be
iwannagetfuckedup! slaps and their entire discography just resonates with me incredibly well. check em out (...and the split i did w them!) calendar year

I haven't listened to and analyzed/ felt this album enough to have a wholly formed opinion on it yet. For me, mixing like this leads to vocals and music blending together in an almost lyric-less way; till I read them, I have no idea what's going on here. But I do love the overall theme, feeling and - the interludes on 4 & 9 set a lovely tone. It's dreamlike and melancholic in a way; hopeful, but not optimistic, rather countered with sadness. That's the feeling I get. It does speak to me, ch. sleepy_foxie
